Thapa Peak Climbing is another name for Dhampus Peak Climbing. It is located between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. The Dhampus peak rises to the north-east of the vast Dhaulagiri Himalayan Range, and to the north-west of the lovely city of Pokhara. Climbers looking for a challenging trek should try Dhampus Peak Mountaineering. Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek paired with Dhampus Peak Climbing expedition is a less traveled and less challenging track than other peaks. As a result, this peak is accessible to beginners and climbers with limited peak climbing experience. Dhampus Peak Climbing FAQs
Dhampus is not considered as the hardest Peak cause any mountaineer with less experience or no experience can also climb this peak. This is one of the best peak climbing for the beginners.
The cost to climb Dhampus totally depends upon the Traveler and expenses chosen. The average cost can come up to $2450 per person for 15-18 days of trek.
Dhmapus peak is at an altitude of 6,012m above sea level.
The best season to climb Dhampus peak is Spring (March – May) and Autumn (September- November)
For summiting this peak, no technical skills are required; nonetheless, any experience trekking in the snow will be an advantage. Although no skills are required, physical and mental fitness are required to tackle the rigors of peak climbing.
