Ultralight or Micro flight is a small aircraft with a powered engine designed to carry not more than two people. The airplane used in Pokhara is only capable of carrying a maximum weight of 600kg.
It can reach an altitude of 12000 to 13000 feet and has a maximum fuel capacity of 90 liters. The average speed of ultralight or micro flying is 80 km/hr. however it can reach 130 km/hr.
The ultra-light’s high aerodynamic characteristic allows it to fly for long periods of time and land even if the engine fails. Ultralight flights are safe because of their light weight and high speed.
