The expedition to conquer Island Peak begins with a breathtaking aerial odyssey, soaring over lush green valleys from Kathmandu's Tribhuwan International Airport to the legendary Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla. From there, the adventure unfolds as we trek through the charming village of Phakding, press on to the bustling hub of Namche Bazaar, and ascend towards the iconic Everest Base Camp. Along the trail, a tapestry of stunning landscapes, quaint settlements nestled amidst verdant vegetation, and a plethora of captivating sights unfurls, ensuring an enriching and rewarding journey.

Day 01: Drive to Ramechhap | Fly to Lukla - Altitude: 2,800m/9,186ft | Trek to Phakding - Altitude: 2,652m/8,700ft | Trek: 3-4 hrs.Meal: BLD
Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap, where you'll board a thrilling flight to Lukla, a gateway to the Everest region. Upon landing in Lukla, embark on a scenic trek to Phakding, passing through picturesque Sherpa villages and lush forests along the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 02: Namche Bazaar - Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft | Trek: 5-6 hrs. Meal: BLD
Today's trek leads you to the vibrant mountain town of Namche Bazaar, nestled in a natural amphitheater. Traverse suspension bridges and ascend steep trails, enjoying breathtaking views of Everest and surrounding peaks as you make your way to Namche.
Day 03: Excursion trip around Namche for Acclimatization - Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft. Meal: BLD
Take a well-deserved rest day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the altitude. Explore the bustling markets, visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum, or hike to the nearby Everest View Hotel for panoramic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
Day 04: Tengboche - Altitude: 3870m/12385 ft; | Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD
Continue your journey towards Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Trek through rhododendron forests and across suspension bridges, with stunning views of Everest and its neighboring peaks.
Day 05: Dingboche - Altitude: 4410m/14464ft | Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD
Head towards Dingboche, a picturesque village surrounded by stunning mountain vistas. As you ascend, notice the landscape changing to a more barren, high-altitude terrain, with spectacular views of Ama Dablam and Island Peak.
Day 06: Dingboche: Acclimatization day. Meal: BLD
Spend another day acclimatizing in Dingboche. Take short hikes to higher elevations for acclimatization, or simply relax and enjoy the serene mountain ambiance.
Day 07: Chhukung - Altitude: 4750m/15583ft | Trek: 4/5 hrs. Meal: BLD
Continue your ascent towards Chhukung, a small settlement nestled beneath towering peaks. The trail offers mesmerizing views of Island Peak and the surrounding Himalayan giants.
Day 08: Island Peak base camp - Altitude: 5,200 m | Trek: 3/4 hours. Meal: BLD
Today, trek to Island Peak Base Camp, your launching point for the summit bid. As you approach Base Camp, marvel at the towering cliffs and glaciers surrounding Island Peak.
Day 09: Island Peak Summit - Altitude: 6,189m/20,305ft | Return to Chhukung | Trek: 8/9 hrs. Meal: BLD
Rise early for the exhilarating summit push to Island Peak's summit. Navigate steep snow and ice slopes, utilizing ropes and crampons under the guidance of experienced guides. Reach the summit and soak in breathtaking views of the Himalayan panorama before descending to Chhukung for a well-deserved rest.
Day 10: Contingency Day | Meal: BLD
This day serves as a contingency in case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. Use this extra day for additional acclimatization or relaxation.
Day 11: Namche- Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft | Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD
Descend through the Khumbu Valley, retracing your steps towards Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the familiar sights and sounds of this bustling mountain town as you celebrate your successful summit.
Day 12: Lukla- Altitude: 2,800m/9,186ft | Trek: 5/6 hrs. Meal: BLD
Bid farewell to Namche Bazaar and trek back to Lukla, reminiscing about the incredible journey you've undertaken. Tonight, celebrate your achievements with your fellow trekkers and guides.
Day 13: Fly to Ramechhap and Drive back to Kathmandu - Altitude: 1,300m/4,264 ft | Flight: 35 minutes. Meal: B
Take a scenic flight from Lukla to Ramechhap, where a comfortable drive awaits to transport you back to Kathmandu. Reflect on your remarkable adventure as you return to the vibrant streets of the Nepalese capital.
