Makalu Base Camp Trek - 21 Days
Makalu Base Camp Trek, one of the most popular trekking destinations among solitary trekkers offers an exceptional opportunity to explore high-altitude terrains, snow-clad landscapes, and the ethnic Himalayan lifestyle. Makalu Base Camp Trekking opens windows to enjoy both the high Himalayan Mountains and the cultural life that thrives on their laps. The people living in the Makalu region are mainly Sherpas of Tibetan origin. They offer hospitality of the highest level and their cultural and traditional celebrations are intriguing.
The walk passes through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, including the lush tropical greens of Arun Valley, Makalu and its tributaries, and the Khumbakarna mountain range. Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, Baruntse, and Chamlang can all be seen from here. The trip's highlight will be a view of Everest's Kangshung face from Makalu Base Camp, which is rarely seen.
When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, one of our agents will greet you. In a private vehicle, he will escort you to the appropriate hotel. Your pre-trip meeting will take place at the hotel before supper on the same day. However, on your way to the hotel, our airport representative will give you a brief overview of the second day's agenda. We will introduce you to your leader/guide during this meeting. My seventh trip to Nepal and I'm grateful for AAT's assistance in planning and executing it. Puru is well-organized and articulate; he answered all of our questions clearly in the months leading up to the visit, and the trek (for all eight of us) went off without a hitch.
